Since I’m pressed for time, I’m not going to say a lot about the revival of She Loves Me because once you note that it has been given a lovely production, acted brilliantly and directed superbly (by Scott Ellis, his second shot at it, after a lovely but not quite as lovely [and successful] go at it in 1994), what’s there to say? It’s that classic jewel box of a musical—book: Joe Masteroff, music: Jerry Bock, lyrics:  Sheldon Harnick—based on that charming Hungarian play—Parfumerie by Miklós Lásló—and the cast features such as Laura Benanti, Zachery Levi, Jane Krakowski and Gavin Creel. For starters.

If you know the show, this iteration will make you deliriously happy.

If you don’t, I daresay you’ll be discovering it in the definitive production.
